Interventional Radiology utilizes minimally-invasive, image-guided procedures minimizing risk, pain and recovery time in comparison to open surgery. This field is cutting edge, utilizing techniques that are technologically advanced and not yet used in many other specialties. The field of medicine is constantly evolving and the future of IR holds new, exciting opportunities and possibilities.
In his practice, there is a strong emphasis on patient education, offering clear explanations of the treatment plan, expected outcome, what patients should expect to experience, and alternate treatments. Not all treatment plans are “one size fits all” and Dr. Parsons works with his patients to find the best treatment plan on an individual basis.
"My mother, 89 years old, had a kyphoplasty procedure performed by Dr. Parsons. My mother walked into our house after the procedure, 3 to 4 hours later, under her own power - which I find amazing. Today, the day after, there is a noticeable difference in her level of discomfort. The staff was wonderful and dealt with mom's dementia with great compassion and care. The nurses, all of them, had "faces of angels." The receptionist was wonderful and we had great conversations. Lunch was ordered for us also and it was top shelf.
Thanks to all of you for taking the stress out of life events."
"Dr. Parsons and staff are amazing. He truly listened to me from the consult. Staff showed genuine care for my progress post procedure. I had my follow up appointment today so satisfied with results. Blake made me comfortable from the start. He is an activist for uterine fibroids treatment beyond the standard."
"The staff, the nurses, and Dr. Parsons were all amazing. Everything was simple and went well – very Bravo Zulu (military phrase meaning "well done"). In addition to the great staff at CardioVascular Health Clinic, the facilities were clean and well maintained. I have no complaints about anything. The whole experience was A1. I would recommend Dr. Parsons to anyone. He made a huge impact on my life."
