Dr. Jim Melton is originally from Anadarko, Oklahoma, and has been in practice for 25 years. He earned his Doctorate of Osteopathy at the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He performed his Residency in General Surgery and his Fellowship in Peripheral Vascular Surgery at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

He is Board Certified in General and Vascular Surgery and has been instrumental in the advancement of vascular surgery and the treatment of peripheral artery disease in the state of Oklahoma throughout his career. He is co-founder of CardioVascular Health Clinic, Advanced CardioVascular Solutions, and Advanced Surgical and Research Solutions.

"Dr. Jim Melton of CardioVascular Health Clinic/Surgery Center in OKC was the ABSOLUTE GREATEST cardiovascular surgeon! He took such great care of my husband Stephen, before, during, and after surgery. Before he was released the same day as his surgery, he came in 5 times to check on him and to answer any questions we had. Also, when we got home, he called later that evening to check on him!!

Since my husband’s blood pressure was running low, Dr. Melton had me to record his BP at different times, and call/text him back with the results!! For the next THREE DAYS, we texted back and forth until Stephen’s BP was at a good level. I didn’t know surgeons did this!!

We are so very GRATEFUL for the care Dr. Melton, the nurses, anesthesiologist, and office staff gave us that day. A HUGE THANK YOU to my husband’s nurse, Karissa, for the CONSTANT care she gave him before and after his surgery. She answered all the questions we had and made sure he was comfortable and pain was managed.

We would also like to thank, Dr. Marcus Smith, my husband’s cardiologist at this same facility for coming in mto check on Stephen the day of his surgery. We have never experienced such EXCEPTIONAL CARE as this and we are so appreciative!!! We were so blessed by all of you who went above and beyond that day. I’m about one month out and things are so much better. At my two week evaluation my symptom score had gone from a 27 to a 7, and I’m sure it’s even better now. That speaks volumes. Now that I’m post recovery, there is no incontinence, I go to the bathroom much less and there are no ED side effects like there are with other procedures. In regard to my quality of life, well, I don’t maintain my life based on my proximity to a bathroom anymore.

I came to Dr. Warren by a self referral for mals when it took me 8yrs 50+ doctors and thousands of dollars spent on no answers. My first visit I was scared I was just going to be gaslighted just like the past however I was pleasantly shocked when Dr. Warren immediately believed me. She took the time to review many disk I had brought from past tests. She never once dismissed me and listened to ever word I had to say. She scheduled one last test to confirm the diagnosis then I was scheduled for surgery right away. Surgery was a success and I can’t thank her and her staff enough. Dr. Warren truly saved my life.

The staff, the nurses, and Dr. Parsons were all amazing. Everything was simple and went well – very Bravo Zulu (military phrase meaning "well done").
