Dr. Monica Lo is featured in the September 2026 issue of EP Lab Digest, contributing her expertise to a national discussion on the future of cardiac implantable electronic device (CIED) management and remote monitoring.
One of the biggest challenges in remote monitoring is managing the growing volume of information while making sure clinically important findings don’t get lost in the noise. Dr. Lo discussed how AI-assisted tools can help reduce that workload and identify meaningful patterns, while clinical judgment remains at the center of patient care.
The feature also highlights CardioVascular Health Clinic’s experience managing approximately 3,000 device patients through an internally managed remote monitoring program. Within nine months, the case study reported patient compliance increasing from 50% to 89%, billing compliance rising from approximately 50% to 90%, reimbursements increasing 64% year over year and report-processing throughput tripling to 30 billable reports per hour.
We’re proud to see Dr. Lo representing CHC in this important conversation and continuing to advance the way cardiac device monitoring supports patients and care teams.
