Every cardiovascular appointment has different goals based on your unique health and wellness history and goals.
Your first appointment will likely be a time to get to know your attending physician and better understand your specific cardiovascular diagnosis.
During the appointment, you will likely:
If you are a new patient, please arrive at least 30 minutes before your appointment time to get your information registered into our system.
If you are a follow-up patient, please arrive 10-15 minutes before your appointment.
Either way, we ask that you please bring the following items to your appointment:
If you need a refill of your cardiovascular medications, it is best to call your pharmacy directly, as they will send a refill request to our office for prompt review and filling.
Although you can call our office with a refill request, filling your medication may take longer.
If calling us directly, please leave a message on the nursing line with the following information:
Please note: Routine medications will be refilled in 24-48 hours. Prescriptions will not be refilled after hours, on weekends, or holidays. Please plan so that you do not run out of your medications.
In case of non-life-threatening emergencies, please contact the office 24 hours a day. Our answering service will connect you with the physician on call.
For any life-threatening emergency, call 911 immediately.

Our nurses and staff are trained to answer questions and pass information between you and your physician. We will make every attempt to return calls by the end of the same business day.
